Bluebird charges a modest nonrefundable application fee for artists applying to the Women in the Arts and Sciences Festival to help cover administrative costs and ensure a thoughtful review process. Application fees are nonrefundable.

We are seeking women-owned vendors that feel:
• artistic
• thoughtful
• welcoming
• design-forward
• community-oriented
• sustainable or intentional in nature
IDEAL VENDORS include:
• women-owned artists + makers
• women-owned curated vintage shops
• women-owned bookstores
• handmade goods
• women-owned businesses
• women-led nonprofits
• women-led educational organizations
• women-owned artisan food concepts
• family-centered brands owned by women
Preference may be given to vendors with:
• strong visual presentation
• original products or concepts
• sustainable practices
• meaningful community connection
• artistic or cultural value
• thoughtful booth design and customer experience
Bluebird is not intended to function as a traditional commercial fair or sales-heavy expo.
The following vendor types are not currently aligned with the vision of the festival:
• MLM (multi-level marketing) businesses
• alcohol vendors
• aggressive sales/recruitment-based businesses
• politically affiliated or politically divisive organizations
• NFT or AI-generated mass art businesses
• vendors selling exclusively basic 3D-printed products without artistic transformation or original design
• mass-produced bulk retail vendors unrelated to the festival aesthetic
