Bluebird was built upon the premise of the street fair meets the gallery. There are few options for vendors that want to sell directly to the people in their community without high vendor fees paid to the corporate brand who does the organizing and the coordination. This leaves the vendor often in a deficit with no other options.

Women are often the creators, coordinators and people building these shows, outside of the corporate brand and inside of their individual communities. In addition women are the primary customers and supporters of these types of integrity driven consumer purchases.

Bluebird is modeled after the co-op business model not the corporate business structure. Therefore the event will always be hosted by a vendor.
